Happy Half Birthday Charlie!!!!

These pictures were a little harder to take- he first started out with both thumbs in his mouth- always cute!! :)

Then, he had a huge spit up and burped all down the front of his shirt.  Also, I think he finally realized that a monkey was sitting next to him for the first time.  He touched it and stared at it a lot.  It was funny!

By the end of our photo shoot, he looked like this- it was his way of telling me he was done with pictures....

It's hard to believe that 6 months ago sweet baby Charlie looked like this at his first pediatrician appointment at 4 days old.....

....and now he looks like this at his 6 month appointment...

He doesn't even look like the same kid! Our little preemie baby sure has come a long way since January!

Charlie had his 6 month appointment a few days ago and everything went wonderful- even better than I could have imagined.  Developmentally, he is right on track- such a relief!!! The doctor was very pleased! Below are his 6 month stats:

Weight: 17.5 lbs- 60%

Height- 27.5 inches- 70%

Yay Charlie!!!! You are doing so well and we could not be more proud of you!! Look at how he has grown through the months....

Here are a few highlights from his 6th month....

He has moved into size 3 diapers and wears 9 month clothes!!

He still loves baths and is taking them now without his sling like a big boy!

He found his toes and plays with them all the time! I'm waiting for him to put them in his mouth.

One of his biggest milestones is sitting on his own.  He sits in this tripod position and then falls over quickly after....

He does awesome with tummy time and is getting stronger every day!

He is a happy little boy....this smile brightens my day! He giggles all the time too and it's so darn cute! I haven't caught it on camera yet though.

He went on his first plane ride and did awesome! He also met his cousin Miles for the first time!

He eats with us now-he likes to be close to the action during dinner time. 

He went to Mi Cocina and welcomed Nana and Papa back from their trip to Canada.

He loves Polly Wolly- it saves us during his fussy hour in the evenings.  We have put the song on our phones and place it in his carrier when we are out at dinner.  One of the only ways we can take him to dinner anymore without him getting fussy.  We love you Polly!

He pulled on the toy for the first time in his carrier.  He has been touching it for a while, but he has never pulled it.  Way to go CAR!

He loves his jumper!!
