21 months

Happy 21 months Lukie! This month has been my absolute favorite.  Luke is turning into a little toddler before our eyes and he is so much fun! It was hard to get a picture of him this month- he never stays still for longer than a second.  I thought this captured his personality at the moment perfectly though and he has his favorite book in his hand too.   Most of the time he is the jolliest boy and really is happy.

Here is what he has been up to lately.....

He LOVES books! As soon as we walk in from school he finds a book and plops himself down on the ground to read it.  Makes my heart happy!!

 He loved storytime with Nana this month

He loves throwing the football and watching football.  Each time a football game is on TV he screams foot-ball! Maybe we have a future Longhorn quarterback!!

He enjoys music and often has dance parties with Charlie before bed time! Here they are at Nana and Papa's entertaining us all!

He prefers to eat with a spoon this month and a plate. Such a big boy and he's so proud of himself.

He LOVES his trains- he enjoyed playing with them at Gigi and Pops this month....

...and building them any chance he gets.  Choo! Choo!

He also enjoys helping me unload the dishwasher- not sure it's 'helping' me, but he sure is proud of himself!

He enjoyed playing in the leaves and going down the slide.

He also loves kicking the ball and started playing t-ball.  He holds the bat the wrong way, but he can hit it.  Pretty impressive for a not even 2 year old. :)

He went to the dentist for the 1st time...

He got his 2nd official haircut- we had to bribe him with a sucker to sit still.  It was an adventure!

He found his love for stickers this month.  Charlie puts them on him and he just laughs and laughs.  It's the cutest thing!!

We had some fun grocery store trips together.  He either waved at every person and said hi or growled at them.  Thankful the strangers thought he was cute!

He loves to play hide and seek- here is at at the doctors office entertaining himself! Where's Lukie?!

He went through a thankfully short period where he wouldn't go to sleep unless he found his winter hat and sat on the kitchen floor like this.  Random and hopefully this period has fully passed!

I loved this month!!  Happy 21 months sweet Lukie!!
