Snow Day- Part 2

Friday morning it started snowing again here and it was beautiful!!  The boys were at school and we were at work.  My sweet 2nd graders were dying to get out in the snow.  We had two snow days at home with hardly any snow (mainly ice) and then this while we were in school.  We took a short brain break and they played it in for a bit.  These little faces say it all- pure joy!!!

Justin left early to pick up the boys from school before the roads got bad.  When they got home they LOVED playing in the snow!!

Snow Days!

This week has been WONDERFUL! It started on Sunday night when we got the text that our school district and all surrounding areas were closed on Monday due to inclement weather- we then got the same text the next day!! What?! A four day vacation!!  I think teachers are just as excited as the kids that we have snow days! Two extra bonus days with my little family was awesome and just what I needed.  Check out the fun we had! I heart snow days!

The boys were so excited to play in the snow- it was Lukie's first time to see snow!

We then came in and warmed up by the fire......

....and had some yummy hot chocolate! Charlie's favorite!

They then wanted to go back outside! :)

We made puzzles- Charlie is really good!

And watched movies....

It was the perfect 2 days with these sweet boys! I love snow days!!!

Valentine's Day

The boys had their Valentine parties at their school on Friday, the 13th.  I finished my party with my class and rushed to the boys school for their Valentine's party.  This was the first year Charlie really understood what Valentine's Day was and he was so excited all week long.

The boys party was at the same time.  I split time between both, but as soon as Lukie saw me he wanted to go hang out in Charlie's room at his party.  Sweet boy!

We then headed back to Charlie's room and they were playing Valentine Bingo.

Lukie was happy again!

Both boys won in Bingo and the prize was a sucker ring.  They loved it!

These two are best buds at school!

On actual Valentine's Day we had a lazy breakfast, watched Dusty, the boys took their naps....

...and then headed to the lake.  It was almost 80 degrees and beautiful! They boys loved riding their bikes!

What a fun family Valentine's weekend we had!

23 months

Happy 23 months to Lukie!! Hard to believe that this is your last monthly post as a 1 year old!

 His little personality has really came out this month and he is so much fun! He is right on the verge of talking too.  Way to go Lukie! He also wants anything big brother Charlie has- here he is holding all of Charlie's planes and good luck getting them back! Oh boy!!
