Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve has quickly come and gone, and we had a great one this year.  Christmas Eve is always my favorite day of the year.  Growing up, we started it with a family movie and we decided to start this tradition with our family this year. I'm so glad we went- we had such a fun time.  Plus, it was Lukie's first movie!

Before heading in to the movie theater- they were excited!
We got our tickets and some popcorn and were ready to see the movie! Cheese!

We were the only ones in the movie, which was really nice!

The movie was good and wore sweet Lukie out! He slept the entire way home!
We went home for the boys to nap and then headed over to Nana and Papas. It is always fun to have Uncle Keith in town for the holidays!
Maw-Maw and Nana
Erin and Dawn
Charlie was ready for present time to start!

Christmas joy!

We then ate our El Fenix tradition- enchiladas, rice, beans, chips, and queso.....it was so yummy!!

And then we continued with more gifts
 Whoa!!

That was a close one....
I then really was pushing it and wanted to get a family picture of the four of us.  The boys ended up like this on the ground! Our two were VERY excited for Santa and they could not control themselves.  Oh my golly!!
...so we just got a picture of the 2 of us instead!
 Boggs Family....
 Saying goodbye to Miles
Before we headed back to our house Papa read 'The Night Before Christmas' to the boys.  They were very engaged at first....
...and then they ended up like this!
Once we got back to our house we had our Santa cookies all ready....these two could not wait until Christmas morning!!

What a fun Christmas Eve we had!!

Merry Christmas!!

Each fall, we try to have our family pictures taken for our Christmas cards.  The past two years, Brittany Davis took them and she did amazing! She is so good with the boys and we love how she captures these great memories of our little family.

We hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy 2015!

School Holiday Parties

Charlie and Luke had their holiday parties at their school last Friday.  I left my school a few minutes early to make it.  I'm so glad I was able to go- we had so much fun!

Luke's was first- his mainly consisted of them eating. It was cute! They also 'sang' jingle bells, but Luke wanted to sit with Mommy instead- I was fine with that! :)

I think his favorite part of the entire party was eating his cupcake!
VERY thankful for his wonderful teachers who love on Luke everyday.  They teach him so much and we feel so blessed to have found such a great little school for the boys.

We then headed to Charlie's party.  They first had a dance party to start it off.  Here Charlie is dancing with his best bud Jack!

They then ate and Charlie was happy!

They even pulled up a chair for little Lukie to join.  So cute!
These two are the best of friends! He loves Jack!
Up next was the book exchange.  They picked out a book to enjoy over the holidays.

Charlie loved it and started reading it the second he opened it- makes my heart happy!
Showing his friend Sierra his new book.
What a fun ending to a crazy week. Very thankful I was able to make it to both of their parties and that both boys are healthy- Charlie had the flu earlier in the week.  Happy holidays everyone!
