Good Friday

Good Friday we headed to the Arboretum to check out Dallas Blooms with Nana, Aunt Dawn, Miles, Kennedy, and Erin.  It was a beautiful day and a perfect Good Friday! !

 He then realized that the pumpkins weren't at the Arboretum anymore and was pretty bummed about it! Few more months buddy!

Hello 3rd trimester!!

Hello 3rd trimester!!! I can't believe we are at the home stretch of this pregnancy.  I was told being pregnant with your third would fly by and everyone was right.  We are getting so close to meeting our sweet baby girl.  We had our 28 week sono last week and everything was great.  She had a healthy heartbeat of 157 bpm and currently weighs 2.5 pounds and measures right on time in the 51%.  She is also very active and loves to kick at all hours of the day!  Isn't she beautiful- I love this profile shot of her!

We have been working hard on getting the nursery done.  We have moved the playroom upstairs and the old playroom is now the nursery.  Which is perfect- because it's right across from our bedroom.  It was blue, but we painted it gray and will add lots of pink.  Finding the perfect shade of gray is tough but we found it! 

Overall, I'm feeling good, just growing! Here I am at 29 weeks.  

Luke is THREE!

A few weeks ago, Lukie turned THREE! He has been waiting for his birthday ever since Charlie celebrated his back in January.  Each morning, he would wake up and ask if it was his birthday yet. Sweet boy! You could imagine how excited he was when that day finally came!

The day started with birthday donuts.  Nana came to watch the boys in the morning while I waited in line for 2+ hours to register Charlie for kindergarten!! Our baby turning three and registering your oldest for kinder all in one day was a little too much for my pregnancy hormones to handle! Oh boy!

If you know Luke, his favorite food is breakfast.  He could eat it for every meal if we let him.  So, we thought it would be perfect to have his birthday lunch at The Original Pancake House.  We met Justin there for lunch and Luke was so excited!!!

 Once Justin got home from work, we opened gifts and had cupcakes!

 Such a fun day celebrating our crazy three year old!!

The next day, he celebrated his birthday at school with his friends with more cupcakes and treats.  He was so excited about this and wore his crown at home the rest of the day!

That weekend, we had his birthday party with family.  He LOVED bowing at Charlie's party.  When I asked what he wanted to do for his birthday his first response was bowling.  So, bowling it was.
