Family Beach Vacation

The first of June we headed to Seaside, Florida for our family beach vacation.  We have been talking about the beach and ocean for weeks and Charlie was so excited to get here.  Here he is riding the airport shuttle....
Luke was ready to see the beach for the first time too!
Waiting to head into the airport
Once we got there we waited in line for our standby ticket.  Doesn't he look so cute with his big boy suitcase?! He was taking it all in!
Lately, Charlie likes to be the 'line leader' everywhere we go.  Here he is being the 'line leader' to our gate.  He definitely is a teachers kid!
Once we made it to our gate he loved seeing all the airplanes.  He was in heaven!
We were one of the last standby names they called, but we made it on!! First time we had flown as a family of 4 and it was an adventure!! Florida here we come!!
We were exhausted by the time we made it to the beach house.  After a good nights sleep we headed to Seagrove Beach first thing in the morning.  Luke's first time at the beach!

Once we got to the beach Charlie was thrilled.  He got all set up to build sandcastles with Papa.  He's been talking about this for weeks.

First time as a family of 4 at the beach!

That night we headed to Seaside Village for dinner.  While we were waiting for our table, Charlie saw this duck at another store and wanted to ride on in.
Dinner time at the Great Southern Cafe!
After dinner there is a huge field where both boys loved run around.  They had a blast!

When they got tired, we headed to get some ice cream.  Perfect ending to the perfect day!

The next day Justin and I rode our bikes through Water Color.  It was beautiful and such a nice way to start the day.  The rest of the day we hung out at the pool and relaxed!

The next we went back for another fun day at the beach! Beautiful!!

Luke was taking it all in!
Daddy and Lukie!
Beautiful!!!
This is my favorite picture of Charlie- pure joy!!!!
Charlie learned how to throw a frisbee on the trip and he loved playing with Daddy in the ocean!

Luke was pretty content hanging out in the shade.
Before dinner, we wanted to take a family picture.  We wanted Charlie to sit next to Maw-Maw- but he told us he would rather stand by himself.  Oh my golly- he's a mess!
We then headed to Pickles for a yummy dinner of hamburgers and fries.

And then headed back to the field to run and play. It was a great ending to our wonderful trip!

Thank you Nana and Papa for a wonderful beach vacation!! We had so much fun and made many memories!!!
