4th of July

The 4th of July was so much fun this year.  The day started at our neighborhood parade!

 Luke wanted to be in the parade. :) He kept walking off and joining the people in the parade. He definitely had the most fun out of all of us!

 He then found a sucker and opened it on his own and enjoyed it.  I'm pretty sure Charlie's first sucker was when he was 2 years old and it was organic! :) Second child is a little different!

 Charlie loved all the things they threw at the kids.

 When the parade was over we headed to the neighborhood carnival.

 Luke loved playing on the playground.  Sweet boy!

 They loved riding the train with Daddy!

 Charlie and I then headed to Nana and Papa's to swim.  That night we headed to the club for dinner and fireworks.

Before the fireworks started! Charlie was really afraid of the fireworks this year.  Maybe next year he will enjoy them more.

Such a fun day with our little family!!

Matt's Promotion

Matt was promoted a few weeks ago.  It was so nice for us to be there and see the ceremony.  Way to go Matt!! We are so proud of you!!

 After the promotion we headed to Snuffers to celebrate.  It was a yummy meal!

Way to go Matt! We are so proud of you!!

16 Months

Luke turned 16 months on July 1st!

This was a fun month for us.  The big event was that he got tubes towards the middle of the month.  He has had ear infections since February- poor thing!

After the surgery- he was a trooper and bounced back in true Luke form!! Way to go Lukie!!

Another big event was that he went on his first flight and did great!

It was also his first time on the beach!

He loved being on the golf course for the first time too!

He loved watching his big brother during swim lessons

He enjoyed going to the grocery store 

Mornings are so much fun! I love being home over the summer!

Bath time is always an adventure with these two!

I think they have been spending too much time with Mommy- they love to put on my headbands! Sorry Daddy!

He met Mommy's college roommates kids- such a fun night!

Happy 16th months sweet boy! We are having such a fun summer together!
