Charlie had his first Halloween this year and we had a blast! His Day School had a Boo Bash last week and Charlie was a hit. It was so fun seeing all of his class in their cute costumes. The Bash was mainly for the older kids, but the infant class had fun too! Here are a few pictures I took....
He was over the Boo Bash by the time they got to the buggy ride! Maybe his costume was a little hot and over the top! :)
Charlie was wiped out when we got home!!!
On Monday, SWA had their famous Halloween festivities and Charlie made his big appearance. We opted for the Halloween t-shirt this time. He was a much happier little boy! Justin and Adam had a fun time showing him around!

A few weeks ago we took Charlie to the Arboretum pumpkin patch. If you have never been to the Arboretum during this time it is a must!! I was amazed at how many pumpkins they have. Everything was beautiful! Charlie was in an off mood and it was hard to get a good picture of him- he was not his happy self like he usually is. Four teeth were coming in on the top and he had drool coming from his mouth constantly. Just a day later he had a fever and we knew it must of been from the teething! I still got a few pictures and we had a good time!
In the middle of our photo shoot he decided it was time for his nap. It was his nap time, so I don't blame him. :)
We had a great time! Thanks mom, Maw-Maw and Aunt Glenda for spending the afternoon at the Arboretum with us!!!
The same weekend, we had the opportunity to go to the TX/OU game! We were so excited to get away for the day and mom and dad offered to watch Charlie overnight. It was a fun break and we really appreciated them giving us the tickets and watching Charlie while we were away having fun!!!
We also took Charlie to my school carnival a few weeks ago. It was his first carnival, so I didn't know how he would do with all the noise, people, and the heat. But he did great! I forgot to take a lot of pictures, but I did get one with one of my sweet students this year!
I have always loved fall, but I love it more this year with Charlie!!! :)
Charlie had his 9 month appointment last week and the doctor was very pleased with how he is doing. Here are his 9 month stats:
Weight: 19.9 lbs- 55%
Height: 29 inches- 75%
Head Circumference: 90%!!
Apparently, he doesn't like people knowing what he weighs because he got a little fussy when they were trying to weigh him.
He had the dreaded 9 month shots, but he was a trooper! After many tears, he was fine and even ripped the band-aide off in the car on the way home and tried to eat it!!
Way to go CAR on a good 9 month appointment- we will be back in 3 months when he turns 1. Yikes!!!
We can't believe that our lil' guy is already 9 months old! Between home renovations, rolling all over the place, scooting, and finally crawling it has been a fast and crazy month!!!
The big milestone he accomplished this month was CRAWLING!! Yes, we officially have a crawler. Check out his moves here....
He also learned to sit up from a crawling position- this is what he looks like when I wake him in the morning. I thought that he was sleeping peacefully in his room and I was wrong! Quickly after this we lowered his bed.....
He loves his blocks and he plays with them any chance he gets!
With our kitchen and bath renovations going on we have been visiting our parents houses weekly to wash our dishes. Charlie has had lots of extra time with his Nana and Papa.....
.....and Gigi and Pops this month.....
He is still a very happy boy and he lights up our day each day!!
