Special Guests

Good Friday was one of our school make-up days from when it snowed in February and early March.  The boys didn't have school that day and Justin was off of work, so we thought it would be the perfect time to bring the boys up to my school to meet my class.  Charlie was been waiting all year long to meet Mommys 'big kids'.  He was really excited! My sweet 2nd graders were thrilled to meet Charlie and Luke as well.  I talk about the boys all the time, so they could not wait to meet them.  One girl in my class even brought Charlie a Dusty plane to welcome him because they know Charlie loves the Planes movie.  Sweet thing!!

When the boys arrived, my class was REALLY excited.  They all wanted to asked them questions and give them a tour of the classroom.  It was sweet, but a little overwhelming for the boys. We had circle time and each of my students shared their name.  It was cute!

It was almost time for my class to head to specials.  Charlie LOVES being the line leader in his class and wanted to lead my class to speicals.  Way to go Charlie!

After he led my class to specials, he wanted me to read a Dr. Seuss book to him.  Of course I will!
We then headed to Ms. Harris' room and he loved playing with her Promethean table. Charlie caught on really quickly too.
I loved having the boys in my class- especially knowing this is my last year teaching, it made it extra special.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend this year.  On Saturday afternoon, we dyed the Easter eggs.  Charlie was a big help in getting everything ready!
Luke wanted to join in on the fun too! Sweet boy!
We then moved outside.....

The finished eggs.  The boys were proud!
The next morning, they woke up and came downstairs to their filled Easter baskets.
....and then did an egg hunt around the house.

Next, we headed to church and met Pops, Gigi, Aunt Chrissy, and baby Brooklyn there.  We missed you Uncle Adam and Uncle Chase!

After church service, we ate lunch at a wonderful BBQ restaurant close to our church.  It was our first time there and it was awesome! We will definitely be back!

We then went home changed and headed to Nana and Papa's.  They were so excited to open their Easter baskets from Nana and Papa.  They were filled with the best stuff.  Nana always does the best job with Easter baskets!

The Easter egg hunt then started....

I love these two together! Sweet cousins!
Thank you Nana and Papa for a great Easter egg hunt!
It was now time to eat....Kennedy was ready!
After we ate, the boys wrestled with Papa.....

...and we celebrated Kennedy's 2nd birthday! Happy birthday sweet girl!
Such a fun day filled with family, food, laughs, and lots of Easter treats!!

School Easter Egg Hunt

Last Thursday was the boys Easter egg hunt and party at their school.  I rushed out of school, had someone dismiss my class, and made it there by 3:00.  This is what Lukie looked like when I walked in his class.  It doesn't get much cuter than this.  :)
His class then started the egg hunt.  This was Luke first egg hunt he could participate in.  He wasn't walking last Easter and he was so excited this year.  Eggs, eggs!!

Towards the end, he grabbed one of the wagons and put his basket in it and rolled it around.  Smart boy!
We then headed to Charlie's class...they were having their party in the kitchen.....
...and little Lukie grabbed a chair and joined in on the fun.  Little brother didn't want to miss out on the fun!
Charlie's favorite job in his class is the line leader- total teacher's kid!
Here he is about to lead his class out to the egg hunt.  He was really excited!
Getting ready....
Go!!! He was ready to get as many eggs as he could find!

Showing me all of the eggs he found.  He was so proud!
With his sweet friend Jude after the egg hunt

His Preschool class.  We are going to miss this sweet school next year.  Some of these friends Charlie has been with since he was 8 months old.
Such a fun day! I'm so glad I was able to be there for special days like this!
