Life Lately

August was such a good month.  We got in as much as we could had a so much fun! The best part was knowing I wasn't going back to work and I could spend as much time with these two.  It was a great month and we checked off almost everything from our summer bucket list as well!

We started the month with many bike rides- isn't he so cute?!

August was hot and they played in the sprinklers as much as the could.  The loved it!

 We went on a train and a trolly ride with Daddy! The boys LOVED this- probably their favorite thing we did this month!

 We stopped off at Klyde Warren Park and cooled off a bit and grabbed lunch...

We tried to go to as many indoor play places as we could to stay cool, but also burn out their energy.  This was one of their favorites!

 

We loved swimming at Nana's and eating popsicles!

 We went to the park and played soccer as much as we could

 They loved it when Daddy plays soccer when them when he got home!

We ate at Monster Yogurt often to cool off!

 They loved the splash pad

 They colored and played with play-doh indoors on those really hot, hot days!

Charlie was so brave this month and went down the yellow slide at the Club! Wow! I'm so proud of this boy- he has come a long way!

 We went to the Kids Summer Movies one hot morning- they loved eating popcorn before lunch :)

 They loved building train tracks

 We enjoyed playing with new friends

 Luke had many 'two' moments :)

We enjoyed a morning at the Aquarium with Nana, Aunt Dawn, Miles, and Kennedy

We went to our local donut shop one morning and the boys loved it!

 We had blessing of the backpacks at our church to get ready for the new school year

 We went to the Perot Museum- Charlie's favorite place!

We ended the month with Charlie starting soccer! He had his first practice and game and we were so proud of him for trying something new!

We had such a good month and I'm looking forward to starting this next chapter with these two!

Goodbye Sweet School

This week we said goodbye to the boys school.  Charlie started going there when he was 8 months and Luke when he was 6 months. It is truly the sweetest school and the boys have learned so much during their time there.  As excited as we are about their new school and this next chapter, it was a sad week saying goodbye to all their wonderful teachers that loved on our boys everyday for the last 4 years.
