Mr. ONEderful!

Happy first birthday sweet Charlie! We can not believe that you are already a year old. We had his 12 month appointment last week and his doctor could not be more pleased with how much he has grown this year.  Way to go Charlie! Here are his year stats:

Weight: 22.9 pounds - 50%

Height: 31 inches - 75-90%

Head Circumference: 90%!!

Look at how much he has grown over the year!

Winter ONEderland: The Party!!

Monday, January 2nd was Charlie's Winter ONEderland birthday party.  We had a blast celebrating the day with our family.

He was memorized by all the decorations around the house and could not wait to touch all of them- especially what was hanging from the ceiling

 

He was really happy when he pulled it down too

 

He loved opening all of his presents- what a lucky little guy!

At the end of his present opening he stood up and clapped for himself- it was pretty cute! Yay Charlie!!

Then, it was time for the smash cake! I was pretty excited about this- I couldn't wait to see how he liked cake.  This was the first sweet thing he has eaten, and I just knew he would get it all over himself.  I couldn't wait!

 He really didn't know what to think though and he just took little bites from it- pretty funny!

 By the end, he was getting more into it!

After the party, Charlie hung out in the back with the guys watching the Rose Bowl.  Gotta teach him early about our love for football!

Thank you to all of our family for spending the afternoon celebrating our little guy! We can't thank you enough for your love and support you have given us this year.  We are truly blessed!!!

Winter ONEderland: The Decorations

I was so excited to start planning Charlie's first birthday.  I went back and forth for a few months about what the perfect theme would be for his big day.  With the help of Pinterest and Etsy I finally decided on Winter ONE-derland!
