Mother's Day Weekend

The Saturday of Mother's Day weekend we headed to the Zoo with Gigi, Pops, Aunt Chrissy, and Uncle Chase.  Charlie has not been to the zoo in over a year and it was Luke's first time.  As you can see from Charlie's expression when we first arrived- he was in heaven!! We had a blast!  Happy Mother's Day Gigi!

 Feeding the giraffe's with Pops!

 Luke and Pops!
He really enjoyed petting the animals

 Love this sweet, sweet boy!
The next day we headed to Nana and Papa's for an early dinner.  The boys cooked and we relaxed by the pool.  It was wonderful and just what we needed.  The dinner was so good and it was really nice to not have to cook! Thank you Dad and Justin!

Very thankful for all these amazing women in my life!! Poor Luke missed out on the picture- he was napping!
Happy Mother's Day Mom/Nana!! We love you!

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year! Charlie really got into it and Luke even had fun too!!

The weekend started with dyeing the Easter Eggs- Charlie's first time!

We then moved outside.....

Luke even enjoyed the fun playing with Charlie's toys!!

Our Easter eggs!
The next morning we woke up bright and early to do Easter baskets....
Charlie loved his dinosaur- he named him Waffle!
Looking for Easter eggs around the house....
We then headed to church- it's always a challenge getting a picture of the 4 of us.  We tried! :)
Pops and Gigi joined us at church- Charlie loved his tongue that morning.
After the service we tried to get more pictures- but these were the best we could do.

I love my boys!
We then headed to Nana and Papa's for Easter lunch.  I left the camera at home and my phone doesn't take the best pictures.  :(

Charlie got some contruction toys in his Easter basket that he was thrilled about. Charlie and Miles love chasing each other around the house.

We also celebrated Kennedy's 1st birthday!
We then had the Easter egg hunt- Luke's first one!!
Trying to get a kid shot!!
Nana and Papa and the grandkids!

What a great Easter we had! Looking forward to teaching the boys about the real meaning of Easter as they get older.

Luke is 1!!

Luke's 1st birthday was March 1st and we had a 'Lucky Luke' birthday party.  The theme I thought fit perfect because when the he made his early and quick arrival a year ago all the nurses said 'Lucky Little Luke'  when referring to him.  The name stuck a year later! We had a small party with family to celebrate his first year!
