Weekend at the farm!

A few weeks ago, we packed up the car and headed to the farm for the weekend for Papa's birthday.  We had a blast and it was such a relaxing family getaway!

As soon as we arrived Charlie wanted to play 'train tracks' with cousin Miles!

 They then headed to the pond to throw whatever they could find into the water.  Charlie had a blast!

 Erin then went fishing and was showing the boys the worm.  Miles was brave and held it....Charlie, not so much! :)

 Love that these two play so well together!

 It was then time for Papa, Charlie, and Miles to have fun!! Love it!

 Charlie's favorite thing of the entire weekend was the tractor.  I don't know what it is, but this boy loves him a tractor! He couldn't believe he was about to ride in one!

 Vroom! Vroom!

 You can't forget baby Luke- he had fun watching all the excitement.  Next year he will be able to ride with big brother and cousin!

 That night we roasted marshmallows- another first for Charlie!

 It's yummy! I think he liked it!

 Next morning the boys took the truck out to look for animals!

And Luke had fun once they returned!

 After the pictures this is how Charlie looked- he was dreaming of going back on the tractor!

 And his wish came true- one more tractor ride before heading home!

While the boys were playing on the tractor, I was able to have some Luke time.  

 And when we told him he needed to get off the tractor so we could head home he had a full on melt down in the middle of the yard.  Guess he had a good time!

Happy birthday Papa! We had a fun time celebrating with you and can't wait to go back soon! 

8 months

Happy 8 months baby Luke!!



This month Luke and Charlie really started interacting with each other and it was so much fun!! I hope these two are the best of friends growing up!

He enjoyed hanging out in the laundry basket while we were folding clothes

He also is enjoying his excersaucer a little bit more these days

He also loves playing hide and seek with Charlie after dinner! It's pretty cute!

Luke also loves pulling Charlie's hair!!

Happy 8 months sweet boy!

Happy Halloween

We had the BEST Halloween this year! Charlie is at such a fun age and really got into this year! Their Halloween started a day early with the annual 'Boo Bash' at the boys school!!

Luke mainly enjoyed it from being rolled around in his crib.  Next year he is going to love it!!

 Each of the toddler/preschool classrooms had different themes and the kids would travel to each one and play a different game.  Charlie didn't know what to think of all the excitement!

 The cake walk was his favorite! He won a few cakes too!

Actual Halloween Day started at Dad's office for the annual SWA Halloween festivities! Charlie and Luke were the life of the party and had fun trick or treating!

 They then headed home, had a quick nap, and got ready for a night of trick or treating...

 The night began- not sure who was more excited me or Charlie!

 Trick or Treat! It didn't take anytime for Charlie to understand that if you ring the doorbell you get candy.  He did great!!

Luke even had a fun time!

 Once it started getting dark and the boys were done trick or treating we came home to relieve Nana and Papa from passing out candy.  Charlie was just as excited to be home and pass out candy as he was trick or treating!

 Thank you Nana and Papa for passing out candy so we could trick or treat with the boys!

 Charlie then loved his Halloween play time with Papa!

Such a fun Halloween we had! Days like these I wish Charlie would stay this age forever! Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!
