First Foods

Luke started eating solids last weekend and it was so much fun! We started with rice cereal and he was ready for it!

 First few bites- I'm not sure of this Mama!

 I think he's starting to like it! He was so much less dramatic and calmer than Charlie was with his first few bites.  :)

 Love this sweet boy!

By the end of it he had both hands in his mouth....

 Good job Luke- you did awesome with your first day of food!!

Happy Half Birthday Luke!

Happy half birthday sweet Luke!!  Can't believe he is already 6 months!

These pictures were so much fun to take- I think he just realized that there was a big elephant sitting beside him. :)

This is how our photo shoot ended- he was done with pictures!

We had his 6 month checkup and all went well.  The doc was pleased with his weight gain and with how social he was. :)

Weight: 17.2 pounds- 39th%

Height: 27.25 inches- 72nd%

Head: 17 inches- 41st%

The big milestone of the month was him sitting on his own.  Way to go Luke!

Another milestone is that he went to school for the first time and did great! Here is picture they sent us practicing his tummy time.

He is still loving bath time!

He went up to my school and helped me get ready for the new school year

He is such a happy and calm baby- we are so lucky!!
