Bluebonnets

About a month ago, Adam was set to take some family bluebonnet pictures and then I got sick! Fever, headache, sore throat - I felt horrible and was so bummed because I was really looking forward to our family picture day.  Gigi, Pops, and Uncle Adam watched Charlie for the day while I was sick and Uncle Adam ended up taking some great bluebonnet shots of Charlie.  Here are a few of our favorites.  Thank you Uncle Adam for taking these- such a great uncle!!

Easter Sunday

Charlie had a fun-filled 2nd Easter! We started the day with Nana's famous breakfast casserole recipe!  Growing up, we always had this on Christmas day. I'm excited to start this tradition by having it on Easter with our family.  It is always yummy and I think Charlie enjoyed it too!

Then we got dressed and headed to church.  Doesn't Charlie look so handsome?! The service was wonderful!

We then headed to brunch with my family.  We were a little worried and had no idea how Charlie would do at a fancy brunch- but he did great! He sat and ate with us for and hour and a half without a fuss!! Thank you Charlie!!! :)
Our little family of 3- notice Justin's Masters shirt.  Yes! He was at the Masters on Friday!!

 With Papa and Nana

We then headed home to watch the last round of the Masters- what a finish it was!!!! Charlie was getting a lit bored and wanted to change the channel though. :)

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter with your family.  We are looking forward to teaching Charlie the true meaning of Easter in the many years to come.

15 months!

It's hard to believe, but our little man is now 15 months! We had Charlie's 15 month appointment this week and his doctor was pleased with his growth.  Below are his stats:
Weight:  24.15 pounds - 50-75%
Height: 32.5 inches - 75-90%

We had another busy and fun filled month! The big milestone is that he has started walking!! He can stand on his own, walk a few steps and then falls back down and crawls.  Each week he is getting better and better at his walking skills.  Yay Charlie!!!

He is an awesome sleeper and lately we find him sleeping in this Heisman pose- I think he is dreaming on becoming the future Heisman winner!!!!

He also had his first surgery- we are hopeful for a sick free spring and summer!!

His language is improving each day since his surgery as well.  He babbles all the time and his current words he can say are- ball, book, Dada, doggy, Mama. He also said hi to Nana last week!!

He is starting to eat from a plate- some days he does awesome, other days it ends up on his head :)

Bath time is still one of his favorite times of the day.

First playdate with Miss Charley.

Spent an afternoon at the nursery picking out flowers- it wasn't his favorite thing we did this month and he was ready to get back home.

Happy 15 months sweet Charlie! Can't believe how much you have grown this year!!!
