We have found Charlie's ticklish spot and love hearing these laughs daily.  They definitely bring a smile to our face each day! Enjoy!

Tampa Travels

Justin won a SWA golf tournament back in the fall and the prize was a 2 night stay at a Tampa hotel with confirmed SWA tickets.  We have talked about using this for a while and finally used it this past weekend.  What a treat and it was the perfect way to end the summer!!!

We said bye to Charlie and we were off to the beach.  Thank you Nana, Papa, and Aunt Chrissy for taking good care of him while we were away!

Welcome to Tampa! We hit Clearwater Beach as soon as we arrived!

The next morning, we headed to St. Pete's Beach.  It was so relaxing!

After lunch, we checked out Indian Rocks Beach- another beautiful spot!!!

We then headed back to Clearwater just in time for the sunset at Pier 60.  It was beautiful!!

While we were away relaxing, Charlie was having a blast with our family.  His first stop was at Aunt Chrissy's.....

Next stop, was Nana and Papa's....

What a relaxing trip we had!! It would not have been as wonderful if Charlie was not in such good hands with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Chrissy.  We missed him a ton, but knew he was taken good care of.  What a wonderful end of the summer!

7 months

Happy 7 month birthday Charlie!!!

I can not believe that our sweet little guy is already 7 months.  July has just flown by and this has been my absolute favorite stage.  Watching him sit up on his own and learn how to eat solids has been so, so much fun!! I've also loved to watch his little personality grow.  He is a very animated!!! Look at how much he has grown over the months.  Amazing!!!

Charlie has had many firsts this month.  The big milestone he did was to sit completely on his own.  We've been working on it for a while and one day he sat with no help at all.  He will sit for a good while and play with his toys before toppling over.  Yay Charlie!!!!

He also sat in the big boy high chair at dinner- doesn't he look cute?!

The other big milestone is that he is eating solids for the first time. His favorite foods at the moment are pears and butternut squash.  Yummy!!

He also two stepped for the first time and went to his first wedding......

....and had his first over night stay.  Thanks Nana and Papa for watching Charlie while while Justin had his surgery!

His little personality gets better and better each month.  He is a happy boy and we are so, so blessed!!

He is getting a lot stronger- he can do a mighty pushup lately and is scooting around everywhere.  I can see crawling in our near future!

He LOVES his exersaucer.  It has been so fun watching him play and interact with everything.

He has enjoyed going to music class and story time.   

We had lots of swim dates over at Nana's with Maw-Maw- he loves the water most of the time! 

He enjoyed his extra time with Dad this month while he recovered from his neck surgery.

He hasn't napped as well this month as he usually has in the past.  He would rather practice his skills than nap lately.  This is how he usually greets me when I go check on him.....

.....and this is what I see on the monitor when I think he is napping! He completely turned around and was trying to turn over.  Oh my!!!

He loves looking at himself in the mirror.  He will talk to himself and touch the mirror- it's pretty cute!

He loved spending time with his Aunt Chrissy! Thanks so much for helping us out this month! 

We also celebrated Aunt Chrissy's 28th birthday at Matt's.....

....and he loved singing nursery rhymes with Nana and hanging out with Papa!

What an eventful month we had! We love you Charlie and can't wait to see what August will bring!
